Edward J. Reynolds

Edward J. Reynolds, Sr. 81, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, died Wednesday, July 22, 2015. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2015 in Christ Church Mount Pleasant at 1:00 p.m. Interment, Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Ed was born August 1, 1933 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Robert Holland Reynolds and the late Maude Jamison Reynolds. He retired as an electrical engineer from the Charleston Navy Shipyard. Ed was a graduate of the High School of Charleston and a 1955 graduate of The Citadel and served in the US Army. He was a long standing member of the Carolina Yacht Club, the Palmetto Guards and the Sons of the American Revolution. He was also a member of Christ Church Mount Pleasant.

He is survived by son, Edward J Reynolds, Jr. (Abby) of Mount Pleasant, SC.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ann Kirkland Reynolds and his brother, Robert Reynolds.
