Edward Robert Potts

CPO Edward Robert Potts, US Navy (Ret.) 91, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, husband of Dorothy Potts, entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 1, 2022. According to his wishes, all services shall be private.  Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Ed was born February 22, 1931 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, son of the late George Potts and Ruth Potts.  He faithfully served his country in the United States Navy until his retirement after 26 years of service.  He then worked through the Civil Service and the FAA as an Air Traffic Controller, and retired after 20 years of service.

He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years; one daughter, Rebecca Martin; two sons, Steven Edward Potts and his wife, Dianne and Michael Potts; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Faye Sullenberger and Donna Potts.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Barry Potts.
