Edward Nathaniel Jenkins, 75, of North Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Nancy Ramona McCarthy Jenkins entered into eternal rest Tuesday, May 20, 2025. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2025 in the Holmes Avenue Baptist Church, 4602 Durant Avenue at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Beaufort National Cemetery at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Edward was born April 7, 1950 in Easton, Maryland, son of the late William Edward Jenkins and the late Gladys May Skinner Jenkins. He was a veteran of the United States Army, loved wrestling, and his church, Holmes Avenue Baptist Church. Edward served as the Chairman of Deacons, sang in the choir, took care of janitorial services and cooked for all the events at his church.

In addition to his wife of 54 years, he is survived by his son, Willie Edward Drayton, Jr. of North Charleston, SC; siblings: Charles Jenkins of Bethlehem, MD, Louis Jenkins, Sr. of Walterboro, SC, Marvin Jenkins (Gwendolyn) of Easton, MD, Sylvia Jenkins of Royal Oak, MD, and Vera Jenkins Thomas (Walter) of Easton, MD; and many loved nieces and nephews
