Edward Forrest Bonner, 81, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Marika Bonner entered into eternal rest Monday, January 17, 2022. The memorial service will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11:00 am in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mt. Pleasant Chapel.
Forrest was born April 13, 1940 in Gainesville, Tennessee, son of the late Terrell Bonner and the late Gladys Forrest Bonner. He was an engineer and stayed with the same company through out his long and successful career. He began with Douglas Aircraft, continued thorough the merger of McDonnell Douglas, and remained at The Boeing Company until retirement. A long time resident of Huntington Beach, California, he and his wife moved to Mt. Pleasant in 2017 to be close to his beloved grandchildren. He was a skilled craftsman and enjoyed wood working.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marika; daughter, Elizabeth Novak (Paul); two grandchildren, Brianna Novak, Isabelle Novak; nephew, William Perryn; and niece, Sheri Beal.
Forrest is preceded in death by his sister, Betsy Perryn.
