Edward "Ed" David Crosby, 84, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Linda Kay Crosby entered into eternal rest Thursday, April 26, 2018. His Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in Bethany United Methodist Church, James Island, 1853 Maybank Hwy at 7:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.

Ed was born January 1, 1934 in Walterboro, South Carolina, son of the late Edward Curtis Crosby and Marie Godley Crosby. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, and he was retired from Civil Service. Ed was a Mason, and the Founder and President of Charleston Inshore Anglers Club.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Kay Crosby of Charleston, SC; two sons, John Edward Crosby (Rose) of Goose Creek, SC, Curtis Crosby (Laurie) of North Charleston, SC; daughter, Eve Dickson (Bryan) of Rocky Mount, NC; step-son, Michael Lee (Heather) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two step-daughters, Tracy Smith (Jimmy) of Asheville, NC and Jennifer Singleton (Jack) of Canton, NC; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his step-daughter Rebecca Kay Burnette.
