Ed was born January 27, 1949, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, son of the late Edward Oliver Crandell III and the late Mildred Gertrude Quillen. He met the love of his life, Betsy, when he moved to Humboldt, TN in his senior year of high school. He also dedicated his life to God as a member of Point Hope Methodist Church, serving as Chair of the Staff Parish Relations Committee and participating in the Men's Bible Study. He belonged to the American Psychologist Association and was a man of character and honor. He will be remembered for the way he loved his family and served God and his country.
