Edna Mack Sutton, 93, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Colonel Charles Samuel Sutton entered into eternal rest Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 14, 2016 in St. Barnabas Lutheran Church, 45 Moultrie Street, Charleston, SC at 11:00 a.m., where the family will receive friends in the sanctuary beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment following will be in Bethany Cemetery. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.
Edna was born December 3, 1922 in Lone Star, South Carolina, daughter of the late John Wilbur Mack and Carrie Stoudenmire Mack. She was a former member of the Citadel Wives Club and St. Barnabas Lutheran Church.
Edna is survived by her sister, Sibyl Mack McKinney of Columbia, SC, nieces: Elise Rivers of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Nancy White of North Charleston, SC, and Bettie Faison of FL; nephews: John Mack of Mount Pleasant, SC and Dr. Don McKinney of Columbia, SC.
