Edna Lee Murray, 101, of North Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Thaddeus E. Murray, entered into eternal rest at her home, Monday, January 7, 2013. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 10, 2013 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL, 2119 Dorchester Road at 2:30 pm. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 pm until the time of the service in Stuhr's North Area Chapel.

Mrs. Murray was born November 14, 1911 in St. George, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Archie O. Thomas and Carrie Kizer Thomas. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Doorway Baptist Church. She will be missed by her loving family and many friends.She is survived by her daughter, Shirley M. Roberts of N. Charleston; her son, Thad E. Murray, Jr. and his wife, Suzanne Murray of Charleston; eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Mrs. Murray was preceded in death by her son, Michael T. Murray, granddaughter, Kristy M. Davis, great granddaughter, Jenni S. Davis and son-in-law, James J. Roberts.
