Edna Helen Jones

Entered into eternal rest Monday, April 2, 2012, Edna Helen Moorer Jones, widow of William E. Jones of Charleston, SC. The friends and relatives of Edna Helen Moorer Jones are invited to attend her graveside service Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 11:30 AM at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 5, 2012 from 10:00 AM until 11:00AM at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.

Born May 17, 1916 in Charleston, SC, Edna was the daughter of the late Thaddeus Roland Moorer and the late Louis Robinson Moorer Myers. She was a beloved homemaker and member of Ashley River Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, William E. Jones, Jr. of Charleston, SC and Gerald E. Jones (Cheryl) of Edisto Island, SC; five grandchildren; Neal Jones, Sonya Wilkinson, Chris Jones, Brad Jones and Mark Jones; five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Donald T. Jones and one brother, Tom Moorer.
