Edna Ruth Henderson, 81, of Goose Creek, SC, widow of Charles Edward Henderson died Sunday, July 27, 2014. Her graveside service will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 in the Plantation Memorial Gardens, 3345 South Live Oak Drive at 10:00 am. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road.
Ruth was born July 10, 1933 in Muskogee, OK, daughter of the late Levi and Mabel Sanders Corp.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Donald) Waddell of Moncks Corner, SC; two sons, Charles "Skip" Henderson of Lafayette, GA and Edward Henderson of Goose Creek, SC; sister, Barbara J. Melott of Shawnee, OK; brother, Paul Sanders of Shawnee, OK; seven Grandchildren, Christy Henderson-Fontes, Nikki (Chris) Larson, Dale Henderson, Danelle Richman, Michael Henderson, Lori Henderson, Nate Waddell; six Great-Grandchildren, Avery Fontes, Soren Fontes, Stevie Henderson, Justin Ford, Caitlyn Henderson, Rosella Henderson and baby Larson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to SPCA Doc Williams, 502 Cypress Gardens Road, Moncks Corner SC 29461 and/or Frances R. Willis SPCA, P. O. Box 1116, Summerville, SC 29484.
