Edna Faye Edmonds

Edna Faye Edmonds, 77, of Goose Creek, SC, died Tuesday, September 20, 2011, peacefully at home.

Born July 25, 1934 in Gallipolis, OH she was the eldest of five children of Benjamin Bloomer and Helen Meadows.  She was a veteran of the US Army.  Mrs. Edmonds was a lifetime Legionnaire member and former Adjutant of the American Legion Post 166 in Goose Creek. 

Mrs. Edmonds is survived by her children:  Charles Edmonds and his wife Carolyn, Sandy Edmonds and Clayton Edmonds all of Goose Creek, SC; two grandchildren, Rebecca Edmonds and David Edmonds; and a sister, Georgia Green of Columbus, OH.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her  brothers and her husband, James D. Edmonds.

The graveside service will be held at Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens, Moncks Corner, SC, Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 1:00 PM.  The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road Friday, September 23, 2011 between 6:00 and 8:00 PM.
