Edmund M. Miller

Edmund Murphy Miller, Jr., 90, husband of Frankie K. Miller of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on the morning of September 3, 2011. 

 Family and friends of Edmund Miller are invited to attend his graveside services in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 11:00 am.  The family will receive friends at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy, on Monday, September 5, 2011 from 5:00 till 7:00 PM. 

Edmund was born August 7, 1921 in Collard, SC, son of the late Edmund M. Miller, Sr. and Lucille Hammond Miller.  Edmund was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church and retired honorably from the Navy after proudly serving for over 21 years.  He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association and of the Navy Memorial.  

Edmund is survived by his wife, two sons, Raymond K. Miller of Louisville, KY and Edmund M. Miller, III of Palo Alto, CA, two grandsons, two great-granddaughters and one great-grandson. 

 Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in his name to the Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 3075 Bees Ferry Road, Charleston, SC  29414 or to The Boy Scouts of America, 1025 Sam Rittenberg Blvd., Charleston, SC  29407.
