Edmund "Eddie" Eugene Carr, 45, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Michelle Romero Carr passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015. A Celebration of Eddie's Life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 9, 2015 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road. Interment will be at a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 8, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Eddie was born January 28, 1970 in Ridgewood, New Jersey, son of Edmund Carr and Diana Radocha Carr. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, a federal officer for twenty years who served as a Border Patrol Agent, Deportation Officer, and most recently a Supervisory Detention and Deportation Officer with U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE). Eddie was a huge sports fan and was a diehard Steelers fan. He enjoyed fantasy football and fishing and was a member of the East Cooper Fishing Club.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Michelle Romero Carr of Mount Pleasant, SC; his parents, Edmund and Diana Carr of Midland Park, NJ; his children, Ryan, Allie, and Olivia Carr of Mount Pleasant, SC; his sister, Kim (Jack) Locker of Batesville, IN; and his brother, Justin (Dana) Carr of Centennial, CO.
