Edmonds Tennent Brown, III, 80, of Summerton, South Carolina, husband of Anitra Forton Brown, entered into eternal rest Thursday, October 15, 2026. All services are private. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel.

Edmonds was born March 24, 1946, in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Edmonds Tennent Brown, II and the late Margaret Schaffer Brown.

He is survived by two sons, Edmonds T Brown, IV of Charleston and Joey (Tiffany) Gregory of Summerville, SC; two daughters, Margaret Bowden of Mt. Pleasant and Audra (Doug) Barefoot of Gilbert, SC; grandchildren: Zoe Bowden, Harper Bowden, Jackson Gregory, Memphis Gregory, Jasper Gregory, Reagan Barefoot and Bristol Barefoot, brother, Fredrick (Regina) Brown of James Island, SC; and sister, Margaret Buck of James Island, SC; and many loved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmonds Tennent Brown, II and Margaret Brown, grandson, Codey Gregory and brother, William Brown.
