Edith Williamson Smallwood, 89, of McClellanville, South Carolina, widow of Roger Clinton Smallwood entered into eternal rest Tuesday, January 7, 2014. Her memorial service will be January 19, 2014 at 2:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.
Edith was born February 27, 1924 in Martin's Creek, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Harold M. Williamson and Hannah McConnell Williamson. She was a retired bookkeeper.
She is survived by her daughter, Charmaine Hutchinson and son-in law Kevin Hutchinson; granddaughter Savannah Hutchinson, all of McClellanville, SC; two sisters, Hannah W. Burke of Dunkirk, MD, and Charmaine W. Masut of Pen Argyle, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311.
