Edith Ann Powers Neiheisel, 78, of Goose Creek, SC, widow of Thomas Edward Neiheisel, died Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Her Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 3, 2015, in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 510 St. James Avenue at 10:00 am. Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell, Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road.
Edith was born September 14, 1936 in Covington, Kentucky, daughter of the late William J. Powers and the late Edith Beasley Powers. She was a dedicated wife and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. She attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
She is survived by four daughters: Theresa L. Britton and her fiancé Jerry Russell, Kathleen A. Judd, Patricia M. Newman and her husband Peter, and Christina E. Garner and her husband Albert; eight grandchildren: Carmen and Melissa Britton, Michael and John Judd, Shawn and Shannon Gilliam, and Danielle and Christopher Garner; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Charles Powers of Ludlow, KY and Tom Powers of Covington, KY.
In addition to her husband, Thomas, she was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
