Edith Elizabeth Lowe, 83, of Hanahan, SC, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, October 15, 2012 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 10:00 am.
Mrs. Lowe was born November 11, 1928 in Spring City, TN the daughter of the late Robert E. Walker and the late Blanche Cooper Walker. Mrs. Lowe was a surgical technician in the US Air Force. Mrs. Lowe was a driving force in "Keep em in Stitches" in Summerville, SC.
She is survived by her daughter, Rita (Charles) Ulam of Hanahan, SC; son, Herman Keylon Jr. of Thomasville, GA; grandchildren: Karen Treece of AL, Kayla Ulam of Hanahan, SC, Charles "Lee" (Amanda) Ulam in the US Army stationed in Korea, great grandchildren; Charles Furbee, Stephanie Ulam, DaKota Murray, Dalton Furbee, Makenna Ulam, and Whitney Treece. She was preceded in death by her son, Mike Maynor in 1997.
