Entered into eternal rest on October 30, 2023, Edith L. Pace Hester, of Hanahan, SC wife of Edmund L. Hester.The friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. are invited to attend her Funeral services at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 12:00 pm, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Rivers Avenue, North Charleston.  

She was born in Hendersonville, NC the daughter the late Benjamin L. Pace and the late Cora Ward Pace on July 25, 1928. She was a devoted and loving
homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who always displayed a quiet demeanor and shared her love for the Lord with others. Edith was a graduate of Flat Rock High School, NC and completed the Pack Square School of Cosmetology in Asheville, NC.  She was a member of Highland Park Baptist church, served in the choir for a number of years, and was a member of the Bera Sunday School class.

Surviving are son, Stephen E. Hester (Shannon) of Goose Creek. SC; daughter, Karen H. Fulghum (Kenneth) of Summerville, SC; granddaughter, Jean Fulghum Kiphart (John); grandson, Brandon Scott Hester; great grandchild, John "Jack" Scott Kiphart and sisters, Bettie Gooding and June Mizell both of Hanahan, SC. 

Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the Lowcountry Community Hospice House, Agape Care 374 Myers Road Summerville, SC 29483.
