Edgar Malcolm Salters

Edgar Malcolm Salters of Hanahan, SC, born June 25, 1940, went to be with his Lord Sunday, November 14, 2010.  He was the owner of Heritage Construction Company and The Edgar M. Salters Real Estate Company.  Ed was a member of First Baptist of North Charleston, a US Marine Reservist and Past Master of Strict Observance Lodge #73. 

Survived by his wife of 40 years, Nancy Myers Salters, three children:  T'Lene Augustus Salters, Hannah Elizabeth Salters and Edgar Moore Salters II; two sisters: Doris Crosby Reeves (Jack) and Mary Frances Crosby Taylor; Sisters-in-law: Nina Crosby (Harold), Louise Crosby (Raymond), Pat Plaxco, JoAnn Myers (Jack) and Sandra Myers; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Mary Augustus Hill Salters and Edgar Moore Salters; two brothers, Harold and Raymond Crosby.

The relatives and friends of Edgar Malcolm Salters are invited to attend the funeral service at First Baptist Church of North Charleston, SC, Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 11:00 AM.  Interment to follow at Riverview Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Wednesday, November 17, 2010 between 7:00 and 9:00 PM.
