Earl Franklin "Flash" Gordon II, 78, of Goose Creek, SC, husband of Kathryn L. Semones Kishpaugh Gordon died Monday, October 6, 2014. His graveside funeral service will be held Friday, October 10, 2014, in Riverview Memorial Park at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Thursday in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Earl was born February 20, 1936 in Abbeville, SC, son of the late Earl Francis Gordon and the late Boline Blakey Perry Gordon. Earl was a US Army veteran and a retired Planner Estimator from the Charleston Naval Shipyard. He was a former member of Deer Park Baptist Church and a current member of New Life Baptist Church. He was a member of the Charleston Scottish Society, a member of the House of Gordon, USA and was a member of the American Legion Post 166.
He is survived by his wife, Kitsy of Goose Creek, SC; son, Dr. Winford Aubrey (Heather) Gordon of Silva, NC; daughter, Wanda Jeanne (Jim) Krupinski of Mt. Pleasant, SC; three step sons, Marcus (Laura) Semones of Boston, MA, Gary (Linda) Semones of Columbia, SC, Edward (Seabie) Semones of League City, TX; eleven grandchildren: James Michael Krupinski III, Catherine (Patrik) Mills, Jennifer (John) Elliott, Daniel Semones, Rachael Semones, Isabelle Semones, William Semones, Kyle Semones, Aaron Semones, Fletcher Semones, Aiken Semones; one great-grandchild, Giada. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Frances G. Bailey.
