Earl F. Fisher III of Hanahan, SC passed away January 6, 2017 in Roper St. Francis Hospital in Charleston, SC. Earl was known as "Little Earl" to all who knew him. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri December 6, 1958. He was the son of Hoyland Fisher and the late Earl F. Fisher, Jr. Besides his mother, Earl is survived by his brother Marc Fisher and his niece Isabella Sophia Fisher of Daniel Island and he will be missed dearly not only by his immediate family but a host of cousins and friends spanning the country.
Little Earl had an amazing memory that was envied by all, remembering names, faces, airplanes and even room numbers from hotels he stayed in throughout his life. He could recall detailed memories stretching back to when he was 3 years old. He was always a happy person even with all of the physical and mental challenges he faced throughout his life. He loved people and he never met a stranger.
His favorite lifetime hobby was aviation and airplanes, especially all the years he was able to go flying with his dad. Anytime the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds were performing nearby you could count on Earl being in the audience with his Dad. Music was a second lifelong passion, enjoying classical to Sinatra with just enough Elvis to keep it hopping. His free time at home was spent in his room surrounded by all of his favorite things: his model airplanes, family photos, videos and record albums which made him very happy. He also enjoyed following sports, namely the Atlanta Braves, SC Stingrays and above all others, his beloved Clemson Tigers.
Once he met you he would never forget you and he would always brighten one's day with his million dollar smile and infectious laugh as he greeted you by name.
