Earl Thomas Easterby

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of January 18, 2011, Earl Thomas Easterby, Sr., widower of Helen Lever Easterby.  Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral services in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 20, 2011.  Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call at Stuhr's  West Ashley Chapel Wednesday between 4:00 and 6:30 pm.

Mr. Easterby was born May 6, 1930 in Charleston, SC, the son of Hugh Easterby and Vergie Ginn Easterby.  He retired from Southern Bell as Network Manager. He was a life member of Pioneers of America, the Washington Light Infantry, and life member of the PTA.

He is survived by one daughter Susan E. Woodhead of Charleston, SC; three sons: Earl T. Easterby, Jr. (Trudy) of Prosperity, SC, Ronald G. Easterby (Jan) of Charleston, SC, and Donald S. Easterby (Juanita) of North Charleston, SC; three brothers: William H. Easterby, Frank C. Easterby and John G. Easterby; 6 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is predeceased by his brother Hugh Easterby, Jr. and his sister Mary Easterby and grandson, Ronald G. Easterby, Jr.
