TSgt. Earl Lewellen Dame, Jr., USAF Ret., 92, of Moncks Corner, SC, died Thursday, February 15, 2018. His funeral service will be held Monday, February 26, 2018 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 11:00 am. Interment will follow with military honors at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 25, 2018, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Stuhr Northwoods Chapel.
Earl was born June 16, 1925 in Jamestown, NY, son of the late Earl L. Dame, Sr. and Ailyne N. Andrews Dame Cali. He served in the Navy during WWII on the USS Columbia and was a retired US Air Force Tech Sergeant. Earl was formerly a supervisor at Robert Bosch and Training Supervisor with the Coastal Industrial Training Center. He was Methodist in faith.
He is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Dame (Joanne) of Cordesville, SC and Gregory Dame (Glenda) of Goose Creek, SC; two daughters, JoAnne Dame Arb (Thomas) of Melvern, KS and Debbe Dame Driggers of Moncks Corner, SC; brother, Charles Cali of Fair Oaks, CA; four sisters: Ramona Cali of Citrus Heights, CA, Rosemary Raynor of Sacramento, CA, Betty Hostetler of Ravenna, OH and Beverly Geoia of Loomis, CA; five grandchildren: Travis Arb of Salina, KS, Gregory Dame, II of Goose Creek, SC, Lacie Arb of South Korea, Ashlee Driggers Kositz of Summerville, SC and Tiffany Dame Domingo of Goose Creek, SC; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Myrtle Delgado.
