Dylan Jamie Weir

Dylan Jamie Weir, 19, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015. A Celebration of Dylan's Life be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 15, 2015 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road. Interment will be private at a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 pm until the time of the service. A wake will be held immediately after the service at Ristorante LIDI on Daniel Island.

Dylan was born April 16, 1995, and grew up in Mt Pleasant, SC, son of Rebecca Costanzo and the late Bobby Weir. He was a 2013 graduate of Wando High School, where he played lacrosse and was a member of the Beta Club and National Honor Society. Dylan most enjoyed spending his days at the beach, jumping off the dock into the Wando River and any opportunity to be a water baby with his family and friends. He was always up for a good time and enjoyed his days in the low country. Dylan prided himself on being a hard worker and a loyal friend who enjoyed making people laugh. His infectious smile was heart warming and his laugh brought joy to everyone lucky enough to hear it. He worked with his brother, Cody, at Ristorante LIDI on Daniel Island and had previously worked with his dad and brothers at Coastal HydroPower. Dylan was proud to also be an organ donor to help other people.

He is survived by his mom and step-dad, Rebecca and Chris Costanzo of Mount Pleasant, SC; his brothers, Cody Weir and Tanner Weir of Mount Pleasant, SC; his paternal grandfather, Bob Weir of Orlando, FL; his paternal grandmother, Carolyn Hunter of Port St. Lucie, FL; his maternal grandparents, Robert and Kathy Lewallen of Chattanooga, TN; his step-grandparents, Norine and Tony Costanzo of Mt. Pleasant, SC: his girlfriend Morgan McAllister of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his brothers in kind, Jeffrey Isaac, Hampton Marlowe and Lucchio Vacarro all of Mt. Pleasant; and his many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, A Dylan Weir Memorial Foundation is being set up at the MUSC Department of Neurology. Donations to the memorial may be made at SunTrust Bank to the Dylan Weir Memorial Account.
