Duane Eugene Lundy

Duane Eugene Lundy, 70, of Hollywood, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Monday, October 22, 2023. His graveside service will be held Thursday, November 2, 2023 in the Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Road at 3:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Duane was born July 22, 1953 in Conway, South Carolina, son of the late C. Eugene Lundy and Mary Louise Hughes Lundy. After moving to Mt. Pleasant in 1964, Duane graduated from General William Moultrie High School and attended the College of Charleston. Duane retired from Cel Oil and previously worked for Southern Pump & Tank Corp. and Griffin Petroleum & Electrical. Duane was a Master Mason. He had a great love for all animals, but especially cats.

He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Bowron (Jim) of Wadmalaw Island, SC; two sisters, Karen L. Douglas (Walter) of Corning, NY, Wanda L. Taylor of Mt. Pleasant, SC; brother, Keith L. Lundy (Denise) of Goose Creek, SC; grandchild, Alex Bowron; nieces, Rachel Lundy, Stephanie Kennedy; nephews, Foster Taylor, Mark Douglas; great niece, Pressley Boals; great nephews, David Dew, Brandon Rose, Layton Boals.
