Dr. Arnold Peter Wolff, a respected Doctor of Optometry, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026, at the age of 93 in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.

Born September 10, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York, Arnold was the cherished son of the late Bernard Wolff and the late Ruby Wolff Ginsberg Levy

He is survived by two sons, Richard A. Wolff of Charleston, SC and Barry M. Wolff of Westbrook, CT; His Grandchildren, Mark, David, Benjamin, Harrison, Elliot and Kerry and Great Grandchildren, Casey and Davis. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in- law Irma and Joel Nesson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Carol Zweibel Wolff.

Arnold will forever be remembered as a fun person to be around, a man who was very intelligent and someone who loved to travel with his wife and friends. Arnold was an avid skier, fisherman and in general just liked doing activities outdoors. Around loved to walk. He spent most of his work life walking 3 miles to and from his office each day.

Arnold served in the United States Navy as an officer from 1952 to 1956. He also served on the Ellenville Board of Education for several years and was an active member of the Lion’s club for many years.

Arnold was truly loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed.

His family will hold a private cryptside service at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel.
