Dorothy Johnson Toporek

Entered into eternal rest on September 23, 2011 Dorothy Johnson Toporek, widow of Irving Toporek and known to her family and friends as Dot.  Residence, Charleston, SC.  Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral services at the graveside in Beth Elohim Cemetery, Huguenin Avenue, Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 10:00am.

Mrs. Toporek was born August 3, 1938 in Newport News, VA, the daughter of Armon Benjamin Johnson and Dorothy Clayton Johnson. She was a member of Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim Congregation and served as a volunteer with Hope Lodge and Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim's  Gift Shop. Mrs. Toporek retired from GMAC in the accounting department after 35 years of service.

She is survived by her daughter Lisa E. Toporek of Nashville, TN; brother-in-law and sister, Richard and Virginia Michaux of Washington, DC; Niece, Allison Michaux Reynolds of Washington, DC and Nephew, Rick Michaux of Salem, Oregon.

Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.

The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge of Charleston, 269 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC 29401-1111.
