Dorothy Williams Sullins, 83, of Goose Creek, SC, went to be with her Lord and Savior, December 13, 2023. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 15, 2023, in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Stuhr Northwoods Chapel.

Dorothy lived a full and happy life devoted to her family and faith.  She worked for Abbott Laboratories in Illinois as a Quality Control Specialist in the hematology field in 1957.  It was in Illinois that she met her love, Edward W. Sullins, Sr. and they celebrated 57 years of union.  In 1967 they moved to SC and Dorothy became her own entrepreneur in the ceramic business as Rainbow Creations.  She became known as a local Charleston artist where several of her pieces were showcased across the lowcountry.  

She is survived by her two daughters, Terri Anne Sullins of Goose Creek and Laura Sullins Atchison (Rick) of West Ashley; her granddaughter, Andria Donathan of Goose Creek;  grandson, Joshua Sullins of North Charleston; daughter-in-law, Susan Hill Sullins of North Charleston, great-grandson, Braxton Donathan; great-granddaughter, Isabella Donathan, and very close friends. 

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward W. Sullins, Sr. and only son,  Edward W. Sullins, Jr.
