Dorothy B. Smith

Dorothy B. Smith, 95, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, formerly of Belvedere, SC and wife of the late William "Bill" Smith died Tuesday, February 2, 2016. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date in Belvedere United Methodist Church. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Dorothy was born August 22, 1920 in Bartow County, Georgia, daughter of the late Thomas Albert Black and the late Ellen Saggus Black. She was a retired owner of Belvedere Handyman in Belvedere, SC. She was a charter member of Belvedere United Methodist Church as well as a member of the North Augusta Gideon's Auxiliary.

She is survived by daughter, Jane Smith Johnson of Mount Pleasant, SC and her sister, Betty Flowers of Mableton, GA.

Dorothy's daughter is grateful for the care and consideration given to her mother by the caregivers of Savannah Grace for the past several years.
