Dorothy Clubb Schleppegrell

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of October 12, 2011, Dorothy Clubb Schleppegrell, first married to the late Leon Patrick and widow of William Julius Schleppegrell.  Residence, Charleston, SC.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church,Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 3:00 pm. Interment, Bethany Cemetery. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL Friday between 5:00 and 7:00pm.

Mrs. Schleppegrell was born August 19, 1918 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Ernest L. Clubb and Hattie Mehrtens Clubb. She was not only a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she was our friend. She was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. Words cannot be expressed how much she will be missed by her family.

She is survived by five daughters: Brenda Joyce Tippins (Jerry) of Hanover Township, PA, Dorothy Schleppegrell Young (Don) of Charlotte, NC, Marsha Schleppegrell Dimitri of Charleston, SC, Patty Schleppegrell Tisdale (Bubba) of Charleston, SC and Judy Lee Schleppegrell of Charleston, SC; four grandsons: Mitch Tippins, Matt Tippins, Steven Young and Timothy Young; three granddaughters: Caraline Young McClellan (Bryan), Melissa Tisdale and Anna Dimitri; three great grandchildren: Kristopher Tippins, Bryson McClellan and Cooper McClellan.  She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Hallie Tippins.
