Miss Dorothy "Dia" Misoyianis, 86, of Mount Pleasant, SC, entered into eternal rest Friday, January 10, 2014. Her funeral service will be held Monday, January 13, 2014, in the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, 30 Race Street, at 11:00 am. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the church with the Trisagion service at 6:00 pm. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.

Dia was born January 23, 1927 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late George J. Misoyianis and the late Mary Palassis Misoyianis. She was a retired records clerk for Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital. Dia was a graduate of Murray Vocational High School and a member of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, the Greek Ladies Philiptochos Society, Daughters of Penelope and the Maids of Athens.

She is survived by her brother, John G. Misoyianis; nephews, nieces and one great-nephew. She was predeceased by a brother, Ernest (Tasso) G. Misoyianis and a sister, Angela (Kiki) M. Billias.
