Entered into eternal rest on the morning of September 25, 2010, Dorothy R. Jowers "Mema" Liles, wife of John Dale Liles, of Mt. Pleasant, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. John Dale Liles are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter Tuesday, September  28, 2010 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL,  at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call Stuhr's Mount Pleasant Chapel, Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  Mrs. Liles was born November 19, 1943 in Barnwell, SC, daughter of the late Frank Jowers and Dorothy Birt Jowers Shaffer.  She was a member of The Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion and VFW.  She is survived by her husband, John Dale Liles of Mt. Pleasant, SC; three sons, Richard Liles (Eve) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Rodney Liles (Pamela) of North Charleston, SC and Rodney Liles, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, SC; brother, Frank Jowers of Hanahan, SC; sister, Rose Cantrell of Cross, SC; three grandchildren, Richard J. Liles, Addie S. Liles, and Cailyn D. Liles; one great-grandson, Lamont Wilson and special family friends Harold and Sherry Wigfall.
