The relatives and friends of Dorothy Jackson are invited to attend her Funeral Service in J. HENRY STUHR NORTH AREA CHAPEL, 2119 Dorchester Road, North Charleston, Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at 10:00 o'clock. Burial will follow in Smith Family Cemetery, Elloree, SC. Friends may call at J. Henry Stuhr's North Area Chapel on Tuesday, between 6:00 and 8:00 o'clock.

Mrs. Jackson was born September 21, 1920, in Orangeburg, SC, a daughter of James Samuel Clifton and Emma Lou Godfrey Clifton. Mrs. Jackson was a member of the Future Homemakers of America.

Mrs. Jackson is survived by her son, John Clayton Jackson and his wife, Loretta, of Sugar Loaf Key, FL., a daughter, Becky Ann Taylor and her husband, Clifton, of Sanford, FL.; two sisters, Jessie Lee of Orangeburg, SC and Mary Halley of Van Orin, IL.; 14 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband John Napoleon Jackson, Jr.
