Her Graveside service will be held, Tuesday, June 18, 2024 in the Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street at 12:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.
Dorothy was born June 7, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York, daughter of the late Walter Schultz and Catherine Dougherty Schultz and enjoyed life as a homemaker; living in Rockville Centre, NY, Kent, CT, and Charleston, SC with her husband of 58 years, until his passing in 2013. She will rest beside him at Beaufort National Cemetery to join him for eternity. She will be greatly missed by all of her loving friends and family; most especially, her tight group in Charleston, SC.
She is survived by daughter, Linda Miller of Beaufort, SC; son, Lawrence J. Harter of Mt. Pleasant, SC; grandchildren: Christopher R. Miller (Maya) of Barcelona, Spain, Logan S. Miller of Manhattan, NY, Daniel Harter of Hemphill, Texas; and one great grandson on the way, August, 2024.
