Dorothy Lucille Droze

Dorothy Lucille Sykes Droze, 94, of Folly Beach, South Carolina, widow of Herman Droze entered into eternal rest Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Her graveside service will be held Saturday, September 22, 2012 in Bethany Cemetery at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel Friday.

Mrs. Droze was born June 11, 1918 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of William Alfred Sykes and Lucille Warren Sykes. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son: Errol A. Droze (Julia) of Goose Creek, SC; daughter: Leonotia Miller (Gerald) of Charleston, SC; sisters: Lois Nixon of Winchester, IN and Evelyn Holloman of Midlothian, TX; granddaughters: Allison, Sheryl, Nicole and 5 great-grandchildren.
