Dorothy W. Cox, 94, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late Edward J. Cox, Sr. entered into eternal rest Thursday, November 27, 2025. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Dot was born January 17, 1931 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Melvin L. Wiggins and the late Susan S. Easterling Wiggins.

She is survived by her daughter, Elisabeth Cox Yaun (Matt) of Charleston, SC; son, Edward J Cox, Jr. of Orangeburg; two sisters, Joyce Risher of Hanahan, SC, Ann Drake of Virginia Beach, VA; 9 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandy Cox Prichard.
