Dorothy McLeod Connor

Dorothy McLeod Connor, 98, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Albert Rexford Connor, Jr., entered into eternal rest Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 24, 2014, in St. Mark United Methodist Church, 413 Geddes Ave., at 2:00 pm. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.

Dorothy was born January 14, 1916 in Florence, South Carolina, daughter of the late Calvin James McLeod, Jr. and Alene Parks McLeod. She was a retired secretary with John Wesley United Methodist Church and was a member of Saint Mark United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her two sons, Albert Rexford "Rex" Connor, III and wife, Pat, of Charleston and James "Blake" Connor and wife, Fran, of Charleston; three granddaughters, Ashley Auerbach (Steven), Abbie O'Toole (Brett) and Kathrine Parham (James); and six great-grandchildren, Connor, Callie, Emily, Hayley, Ben, and Sarah.
