Dorothy Lou Pilgrim Chaplin

Dorothy "Dot" Lou Pilgrim Chaplin, 88, wife of the late Robert Lee Chaplin, Jr., of Mt. Pleasant, SC, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2011.  The relatives and friends of Dorothy "Dot" Chaplin are invited to attend her Funeral Service at the graveside on Monday, April 18, 2011 in Bonaventure Cemetery, Savannah, Georgia at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL on Sunday afternoon, April 17, 2011 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Dot was born on September 10, 1922 in Savannah, Georgia, daughter of the late Fred and Alice Pilgrim. She was a homemaker and loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was also a member of the Ladies Republican Club and loved to spend time gardening.  She is survived by her son, Robert Lee Chaplin, III and his wife, Joy of Goose Creek, SC; one granddaughter, Jamie Hebert of Goose Creek, SC and one great grandson, J.D. Hebert, Jr. of Goose Creek, SC.
