Dorothy Louise Causey

Dorothy Louise Causey, 84, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, widow of Leneau Causey, entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 13, 2019. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2019 in St. James United Methodist Church, 512 St. James Avenue at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow in Carolina Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Tuesday July 16, 2109 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road.

Dorothy was born November 27, 1934, in Florence County, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Smiley L. Tedder and Ethel Pearline Young Tedder. Dorothy retired as the director of Kiddie Kollege at Fellowship Baptist Church. She was a graduate of North Charleston High and Tennessee Temple University. She was an active member of St. James United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Gay Maroney (Bob) and Linda Joy Howard; grandchildren: Danielle Newhall (Aric), Renee Keeney, Ashlyn Wilder (Joshua), great-grandchildren: Allison Newhall and Justin Newhall, Paige Keeney and Chase Keeny; sisters, Evelyn Boyd and Margie Carley.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sister Frances Geary.
