Dorothy Fralix Campbell, 83, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Earnest K. Campbell entered into eternal rest in her home Friday, June 2, 2017. Her Funeral Service will be held graveside Sunday, June 4, 2017 in Riverview Memorial Park, 3715 Azalea Drive at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel.
Dorothy was born August 16, 1933 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Cassie E. Fralix and Maude Wiggins Fralix. She was a graduate of Rivers High School and a Real Estate Agent with Fred Whichmann Reality. Dorothy was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church and a Past Worthy Grand Matron of The State of South Carolina. She loved the holidays and get-together's; any chance to spend time with her family and extended family was important to her. Dorothy would spend hours cooking and baking, preparing for her company. Always known to make everyone's favorite dessert. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Earnest; daughters: Gale C. LeBlanc (Ted) of Charleston, SC and Linda C. McGinnis of Mt. Pleasant, SC; sons: William E. Campbell (Flora) of Jacksonville, FL and Dale A. Campbell (Robbie) of Bryson City, NC; eight grandchildren: Kendra Song, Kristen Campbell, Katie Michael, Dawn Cole, Jordan Warner, Lindsey Campbell, Cassie Wilson and Shannon Campbell; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was predeceased by her son, Earnest K. Campbell, Jr. and great-grandson, Bryson Cole.
