Dorothy W. Brinson, 79, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, widow of Joseph Lee Brinson entered into eternal rest Saturday, May 24, 2025. Friends and loved ones will be received at the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy, Charleston, SC, Friday, May 30, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

Dorothy was born August 18, 1945, in Bethel, Texas, daughter of James Brooks Woodcock and Verga Cyrenthia Thomas. She was the business manager for McKellar and Associates architectural firm in Mount Pleasant.

She is survived by her brother, Michael Woodcock of Palestine, Texas. She was preceded in death by father, James Brooks Woodstock, mother, Verga Cyrenthia Thomas, and husband Joseph Lee Brinson.
