Dorofica was born February 6, 1935 in Spain, daughter of the late Manuel Calderone and the late Belen Romero Calderone. She was a seamstress and loved gardening and reading.
She is survived by daughters, Gloria Peacock (Bob) and Glenda Slattery (Michael) both of Ladson, SC; grandchildren, Melissa Peacock, Austyn Slattery, Eryn Slattery; two sister of Spain and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister.
