Doris Morris Woodward

Doris "Dody" Morris Woodward, 57, of Goose Creek, SC, wife of Charles Deamous "Woody" Woodward Jr. died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 peacefully surrounded by family and friends. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 11:00 am. Entombment, Plantation Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Friday in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Dody was born August 1, 1957 in Charleston, SC. She was an administrative assistant at Northwoods Veterinary Clinic. She had also worked in the billing department at University Medical Associates and in the cafeteria with the Berkeley County School District. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Charles D. "Woody" Woodward Jr. of Goose Creek, SC; daughter, Tara Steinbeck and her husband Brad of North Charleston, SC; son, Scott Brown and his wife Melanie of Rodeo, CA; two grandchildren, Caroline Brown of Rodeo, CA and Tia Woodward of Talladega, AL; sister, Carrie Mae Morris of Columbia, SC; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; and beloved friends, Cecil and Faye Goodale.

She was preceded in death by her father, James William Morris and brothers, Jimbo and Harvey Morris.
