Doris Benton Winn, 72, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, widow of William Winn entered into eternal rest Monday, January 6, 2014. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 9, 2014 in Sauldam Baptist Church, Ravenel, SC at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow in White Church Cemetery, Ravenel, SC. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkway.

Doris was born May 9, 1941 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Lonnie Lee Benton and Mary Kinard Benton. She was a member of Sauldam Baptist Church.

She is survived by her three daughters, Deloris Winn (Jack Archer) of Summerville, SC, Brenda (Richard) Braxton of Ravenel, SC, and Mary Winn of Summerville, SC; two granddaughters, Jennifer Braxton of Ravenel, SC and Katherine Dandridge of Summerville, SC; one great-grandchild Aiyden James Smalls; two brothers, Clyde Benton and Fred Benton (Rachel) both of Ravenel, SC.
