Doris G. Reeves

Doris G. Reeves, 84, of Summerville, South Carolina, and formerly of Elgin, SC, widow of Ronald Reeves died Thursday, April 20, 2017. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 24, 2017 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Doris was born April 9, 1933 in Kershaw County, SC, daughter of the late Ansel Goff and the late Alma Nettles Goff. Sista Doris most recently resided at Magnolias of Summerville before pneumonia overcame her lungs. Her devoted caregiver, Huichan Hanken, "Kim" was by her side during her illness.Sista Doris cherished her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by children, Lynn (Tony) Cotrano, Jerry Reeves, Melody Hutson, Darrell (Edith) Reeves, Phillip (Jonie) Reeves, Gene (Jill) Reeves; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Joann (Donald) Roberts, Mildred Smith, Marian Sanders; and her brother, Gene (Betty) Goff.In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charlie Goff.
