Doris R. Morris, 89, of Lincolnton, GA, widow of Van Earl Morris, died Wednesday, September 26, 2012. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 29, 2012 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Northwoods Chapel.

Mrs. Morris was born June 25, 1923 in West Columbia, SC, daughter of the late John D. Lynch and the late Ethel Moore Lynch. She was a former upholsterer with Charleston Upholstery Company and a member of First Baptist Church of North Charleston. Mrs. Morris was a former longtime resident of North Charleston, SC and moved to Georgia to be with her son.

She is survived by her sons, Van E. Morris Jr., (Caroline) of Moncks Corner, SC, and Herbert D. Morris (Carolyn) of Lincolnton, GA and grandchildren: Van Morris III, Billy Morris, Doug Morris, Angela Hines and Kimberly Harris.
