Doris is survived by her son; Andy McKenzie (Kelly), her two beloved grandchildren; Courtney Oliver (Ethan) and Hunter McKenzie (Hannah).
Doris retired after a 26 year long career at the University of South Carolina in 1993. She loved to spend time on Lake Murray with family and friends. She was known for her delicious cooking and entertaining. Doris had an eye for interior design and enjoyed decorating her home to welcome those who visited. She had a kind and generous spirit, always ready to help anyone in need.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel.
