Doris Carullo Huthmacher, 96, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, entered into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. Doris was born on January 25, 1929, in Charleston, South Carolina, to the late Francis A. Carullo and the late Bessie Vinson.

A devoted homemaker, Doris dedicated her life to caring for her family and nurturing their growth. Doris was the proud mother of three daughters: Jessica Karen Wagley of Jacksonville, NC, Susan M. Wittig (Stephen) of Taylors, SC, and Tammy M. Koldyke (Brian). Further enriching her life, she was blessed with six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren who brought her much joy and fulfillment.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, George Wingate Huthmacher, Jr., and her daughter, Gail M. Roberson, both of whom she cherished deeply.

A Funeral Service in honor of Doris will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, located at 1494 Mathis Ferry Road. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation an hour prior to the service. Following the service, interment will take place at Live Oak Memorial Gardens Columbarium.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
