Doris "Dolly" Culp

February 17, 1920 — April 6, 2018

Doris "Dolly" Culp, 98, died on April 6, 2018 with loving family at her side. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018 in Seacoast Church - West Ashley Campus, 2049 Savannah Hwy. at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.

She was a graduate of Classical High School in Lynn, MA and Salem State Teacher's College. Dolly was voted "Miss Cinderella 1937" and was guest of honor at the Annual Ball and Frolic of the Lynn Press Club. She was a secretary and Junior Engineer at GE in Lynn, MA. She was a majority member of the Order of Rainbow for girls and a lifetime member of Order of the Eastern Star.

Dolly was a licensed private pilot and a lifetime member of the Ninety-Nines, International Organization of Women Pilots. She was also a lifetime member of the Massachusetts Society of Mayflower Descendants. She enjoyed membership in the Snee Farm Garden Club as well as the Greater Lowcountry Republican Club.

Dolly was predeceased by her husband, Herb, and her two sisters and one brother. She is survived by her three sons, one daughter, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
