Doris Lee Davis

Doris Lee Davis Doris Lee Davis, 68, of Johns Island, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, April 1, 2017. Her Memorial Service will be held Monday April 10, 2017 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Doris was born February 10, 1949 in Fayetteville, North Carolina, daughter of the late George Richard Topps and Lattie Ennis Topps. She earned her RN Degree from Calhoun Technical College, Orangeburg, SC. Nursing and caring for people were her passion. During her 35 year medical career she worked in MUSC's Trauma Center, the Emergency Room at Charleston County Hospital, and Roper St. Francis Bon Secours Hospital, West Ashley. She attended Seacoast Church West Ashley Campus.

She is survived by her son, Sheldon Davis (Lindsey) of Meggett, SC; three grandchildren, Porter Davis, Hayden Davis, Saylor Davis; brother, Kenny Topps (Diane) of Jameson, SC; sister, Peggy Jean Costner of Columbia, SC. She was predeceased in death by her sister, Thelma Lee Baker.
